Inside, the theme of snow and ice is covered in depth with all of the techniques needed to set our models in a winter environment with plenty of Ice and Snow.

From how to make a spectacular frozen diorama to adding subtle snow effects on a T34. Furthermore, this issue has 16 additional pages to learn and enjoy even more. As always, these techniques will be explained by the best modelers in the world. The Weathering Magazine is the perfect paint reference guide to collect and create the largest encyclopaedia in a modeler’s library, the essential reference for any modeler.

Another excellent magazine in the series. It shows exactly what to use and how to use it and even compares different products to get the results you want. If you want to put your model or diorama in a snow and/or ice environment, this magazine will show you exactly how to do it. You will also learn how t make ice, icicles and trees among other things. I like the way they use examples from all different genres of modelling, aircraft, sea, trucks etc.

Highly recommended!

Available now from the website and as a download using the Weathering Magazine App.

Thanks to my pocket for the review sample.

Paul Tosney

Paul has been with Model Builder International since almost the beginning. He started building models as a boy, and took a hiatus, but started building again a few years ago. He builds pretty much anything, but mostly WW2, with a smattering of modern and the occasional SciFi model.
