MiniArt SU-122 Early Production coming soon

MiniArt have announced that they will be releasing versions of their “full interior” kits without interiors and at a cheaper price. The early production SU-122 shown here is the non-interior version of their “Initial Production” SU-122 which does contain a full interior.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

SU-122 Soviet self-propelled howitzer was created in November 1942 at the design bureau of UZTM (Uralmashzavod – Uralsky Machine Building factory).The vehicle was based on the T-44 medium tank chassis and was a Soviet self-propelled howitzer or assault gun used during World War II. The machine was designed to destroy fortifications, gun emplacements and tanks.

Paul Tosney
