Matho Models has sent us 2 separate photoetch sets for review. The following kits were reviewed by Model Builder International.

1:35 Scale Oak Foliage:

  • Photoetch
  • 1:35 Scale
  • 1 PE FRET with 41 Oak Leaf Clusters
  • Item No. 35005
  • $7.55 USD

The leaf clusters are cleanly design on the photoetch part. Care will need to be taken when removing the clusters from the pe fret. This set is more of an intermediate set but a good start for beginners using pe. There are plenty of clusters in this set to build a good sized Oak tree. An, excellent product for your scratch build necessities.

The Oak Foliage can be found here.

1:35 Scale German Crate Markings (airbrush templates):

  • Photoetch
  • 1:35 Scale
  • 1 PE FRET with 21 different templates
  • Item No. 35006
  • $6.61 USD

The German Crate Markings can be found here.

The set consists of a large amount of stencils to use on your German crates. The stencils will give that added touch that decals cannot. The lettering is crisp and clean and will make painting easy. The set is recommend for the beginner to advanced modeler alike.
