Kagero TopDrawings #69 HMS Badsworth

The TopDrawings series of books are smaller books that supply line drawings in a couple of scales along with some colour profiles and other drawings. This is book 69 in the series.

This book is about The British Hunt-class Escort Destroyer, HMS Badsworth. There are many line drawings of the ship broken up to show views of parts of the ship from bow to stern. There are also 2 pull out B2 sized double sided sheets with 1/144 and 1/200 drawings of the complete ship.

The book starts off with a short overview of the Hunt class and some specifics about HMS Badsworth. Then it gets straight into the line drawings. The ship is broken down into areas and each area is shown from different angles so you can see everything in that area. The areas covered are:

  • first deck
  • stern superstructure
  • stern
  • midships
  • backup maneuvering station

Other parts of the ship are also shown in part diagrams, such as the depth charge throwers. On the back cover are colour profiles of the ship that are smaller versions of what you see in one of the B2 sheets.
