Kagero Super Drawings in 3D #69 HMS Prince of Wales

The first thing you notice about this book is the plans. It’s a big piece of double-sided paper with drawings on both sides. On one side are the port, starboard and overhead views in 1/350 scale. On the other side are views of various parts of the ship in larger scales, such as turrets, weapons, radars, and other items onboard the ship. Once inside the book, you start with 7 pages of an overview of the ship from its conception to its sinking.

The images themselves cover the whole of the superstructure of the ship from bow to stern including the rudder and propellers. The approx 150 images show lots of detail of the ship.

The book details…

  • Author Carlo Cestra
  • format A4
  • pages 93
  • Plans A1, double-sided.
  • 150 images

This book will allow you to get all sorts of small details correct. You will be able to get the rigging correct, know the exact demarcations for the paint scheme to name just 2 things. If you’re building any scale HMS Prince of Wales then this book will be a great help.

This book is available direct from the publisher here for about US$34.00.
